FOUNDER'S STORY

The death of Gabrielle Battistel's previous generation of women in her family - all within 18 months of each other was the significant turning point in her professional story. Quietly strong, deeply motivated - in life and business, these women faced challenges head on with smarts. Their influence coupled with her success in business administration on top of 30 years working in the media birthed Gabrielle's vision of a business raising the bar among the noise and banality online. Today, her vision brings projects that enhances creative storytelling ability in striking, innovative ways.

Before joining her family's business, TMP Digital Media Founder, Gabrielle Battistel gained irreplaceable experience rising through the ranks in various media roles, including Television Advertising Sales office Receptionist (of which she is very proud), Television Advertising Sales Manager Assistant, Advertising production assistant, TVC script writer, General features and Advertising Features Journalist for newspapers and magazines (from where she honed some hefty interview skills and interview subjects). Her proactive approach earned her the trust of management.  When working in the portfolio of family holdings and operations, she combined her strong senior business administration skills with intrepid research capabilities, ensuring the portfolio stayed robust within a continuously evolving economic landscape.

She maintained her media participation in addition to her commitment to the family business. Her insatiable curiosity and addiction to identifying trends early led her to become a skilled, highly experienced journalist, video editor/producer and video graphics designer, with extensive training from the prestigious Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS). This is where her signature compelling short-form audio-visual content for small businesses and book video trailers for authors originated. Before the days of zoom and ‘going viral’ she was elevating professionals with their individual camera performance and communication skills - yet another trend she identified ahead of the curve.

Often described as "clever, professional, original with an innovative approach to promoting business and their owners and the storytelling community" Gab is proud of her career from the opening chapter at ground floor to the executive area where which is the current chapter of her story. Gab is currently the Head of Product at TMP and the Head of Content of Scribalist®. She loves being busy, staying focused on innovation and hopes she's made her inspiration proud.
